Abstract

Afterviralinfectionsandcertainimmunizations,arangeofautoim-munediseaseshavebeenobserved.Acquiredantibodiesagainstco-agulationfactorVIIIcause  acquired haemophiliaA(AHA),ararebleedingcondition.AHAislikelyunder-diagnosedandoftenunrecognizedduetolimiteddataaboutincidence,diagnosis,andmanagement.Wereportthecasestudyofa48-year-oldSaudimalepatientwithacquiredhaemophiliaafterCOVID-19vaccination.Hepresentedwithhematuriaandrightloinpain.HewasfoundtohaveprolongedaPTTnotcorrectedbymixingstudyandhisfactorIIIlevelwaslow.HewasmanagedbytheinsertionofarightureterstuntandrepeatedinfusionoffactorVII   concentrate. Theetiologic,andpathologicbasisofacquiredhaemophiliashouldbeexploredmoreinthefuturetoclearlyelucidatethedisease.ExplorationofbetterandoptimalmedicaltherapeuticregimensisaneedfortimetotreatandpreventmorbidityinthepandemicofCOVID-19
